By creating an account or using ScensobConnect, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally entitled to work in the United States (for workers) or be a legitimate business or agency (for employers/agents).
2. Account responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must not share accounts or passwords with any other person. You are responsible for signing out from public or shared devices. You must immediately report any suspected unauthorized access to your account.
3. Session security & re-authentication
For security purposes, the application automatically signs you out after a period of inactivity and enforces a maximum continuous session lifetime. The application may require password or multi-factor (MFA) verification before allowing access to sensitive information, including payroll, banking, identity documents, background check results, and other personally identifiable information. Trusted Devices reduce repeated authentication prompts but do not eliminate security protections. The platform reserves the right to terminate sessions that appear suspicious or compromised.
4. Security logging
Login activity and security events (including sign-ins, sign-outs, verification attempts, trusted device changes, and session timeouts) are logged for auditing, compliance, fraud prevention, and system security purposes.
5. Acceptable use
Continued use of the application constitutes acceptance of these updated Terms and Conditions. You may not (a) post false credentials or background information, (b) misrepresent your identity or qualifications, (c) attempt to circumvent the verification process, (d) use the Services to engage in discrimination prohibited by law, or (e) attempt to disrupt or attack the Services.
6. Marketplace role
ScensobConnect is a technology platform that connects independent workers, employers, and agencies. Unless explicitly stated, ScensobConnect is not the employer of workers using the platform and is not party to any employment relationship between users.
7. Payments
Payments between employers and workers are processed via Stripe. Platform fees and payment schedules are disclosed at the time of shift posting.
8. Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" without warranty. ScensobConnect does not guarantee the accuracy of any worker credential, employer rating, or background check.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScensobConnect's aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid to ScensobConnect in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these Terms, fraud, or by court/government order. You may close your account at any time.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
